Position Description:
The Sludge Treatment and Valorization Program (group of Assoc. Prof. Keke XIAO) is looking for one Lab Manager/Research Fellow to conduct research projects in the field of sludge dewatering.
The treatment and disposal costs of waste sludge account for 50-60% of total operating expense in wastewater treatment plants. Efficient sludge dewatering is of particular importance in reducing sludge volume, cutting transportation and disposal cost. Therefore, various methods and strategies have been developed to improve sludge dewatering and reduce sludge volume.

Duties and Responsibilities:
·?????? Design and execute research projects, experiments, or studies;
·?????? Collect, analyze, and interpret data;
·?????? Write research papers, articles, and reports, as well as publish papers;
·?????? Collaborate with other researchers or institutions;
·?????? Assist PI to manage the lab;
·?????? Provide guidance and mentorship to team members;
·?????? Engage in public outreach or knowledge dissemination;
·?????? Manage project timelines and deliverables;
·?????? Develop new methodologies, tools, or technologies.

Required Job Specifications:
·?????? Required qualification / academic degree: Have obtained a Ph.D. degree in the last 2-4 years or will obtain a Ph.D. degree by Dec 2025
