The Environmental Science and Engineering Program within GTIIT is looking for a motivated lab technician and manager to support the research and training activities in a wastewater treatment and resource recovery laboratory.

Duties and Responsibilities? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??

• Responsible for the daily technical and administrative work of the laboratory

• Responsible for competing the tasks assigned by the PI

• Assist other researchers to carry out scientific work

• In charge of maintenance of the instruments in the laboratory

Required Job Specifications????????????????? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??

• Master or Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or relevant fields (Preferred)

• Bachelor¡¯s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or relevant fields with over 3 years working experiences in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or relevant fields

• Solid background in wastewater treatment, e.g., anammox (Preferred)

• Solid background in Resource recovery from biosolids (e.g., municipal sludge and kitchen waste) (Preferred)

• Experiences in bioreactor operation, microbial analysis, and applications of UV, TOC, IC, HPLC, and TEM (Preferred)

?Required Job Competencies? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ??

• Good English communication skills (essential)

• Good CET-6, IELTS, TOEFL or GRE scores (preferred)
