The Industry-University-Research Matching Meeting successfully held

On September 4, with the strong support of the Science and Technology Bureau of Shantou City, the Enterprise-University-Research Matching Meeting of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology was successfully held.

The Meeting is an important measure of Shantou City in implementing?the innovation-driven development strategy and accelerating the establishment of regional science and technology innovation. It attracts over 30 enterprises, including Guangdong Liantai Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., Malion New Materials Co., Ltd?Shantou Shanlian Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., Shantou Institute for Light Industrial Equipment Research, Guangdong Vantin Testing Co., Ltd., Guangdong Hengdi Industry Co., Ltd., Guangdong Longhu Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Maohuat?Co., Ltd., Guangdong United Foods Co., Ltd., and Shantou Plastic Chamber of Commerce. Through the two-way negotiation, both universities and enterprises are able to strengthen mutual understanding.

After professors'?introduction, the director of Food Chamber of Commerce in Jinping District, Shantou City, also said that there is huge space for cooperation in the fields of bio-fermentation, dairy products and beverage production.

GTIIT has strong teaching and research strength. This will not only help improve the teaching quality and research level of GTIIT but also further enhance the innovation ability of the technology level of enterprises. This process also helps promote the landing of scientific research achievements and innovation and entrepreneurship of university talents. Kong Bo, an assistant professor at GTIIT, said, "GTIIT has advanced experimental equipment. We hope to gain an in-depth understanding of the needs of enterprises and strive to bring our professional advantages into play to make more scientific and technological achievements taking root and effectively serve the society."
